What I learned from my day planner, and why I no longer use it.

At the beginning of each new year I like to reflect on the past year, noting what worked and what didn’t; where I need to improve and think of what goals to work on. As I was writing it out in my new planner, my husband asked me what I was doing. When I replied that I was working on my plan for 2020 — which included getting more exercise, simplifying and organizing the house, he asked, “Wasn’t that last year’s plan?” Of course, I was not amused by this question.
